Who operates Faces

Faces is operated by ryoi.ai. For privacy, access, correction, or deletion requests, use the ryoi.ai contact page.

What this notice covers

This notice covers the Faces website, account access, referral unlocks, and the audio source you choose to connect. The planned iOS app and custom-face creation are not part of this release.

Voice and audio

Faces analyses the audio source you explicitly connect only to animate the selected face. This connected-source mode does not record, transcribe, store, or upload that audio.

The separate homepage conversation is an AI demo lasting about two minutes. It begins with an AI greeting. Your microphone audio is sent through the Faces server to OpenAI only after you allow microphone access. Faces does not save conversation audio or transcripts. OpenAI may retain API content for abuse monitoring for up to 30 days, or longer where legally required. This is not a Zero Data Retention service. OpenAI data controls. The demo ends after its closing announcement, no later than 130 seconds, or when you leave it. Limited opaque admission and spending counters prevent replay and overspending; they contain no conversation content.

Your account

Apple or Google handles sign-in. Faces receives an internal account reference, the linked sign-in provider, face unlocks, and the minimum referral state needed to keep your collection. Faces does not receive your Apple or Google password.

Referrals

Faces records referral attribution and whether a referred person completed the qualifying account journey. It does not use referral data to read conversations. Duplicate, replayed, and self-referrals may be rejected to protect the unlock system.

Photos

The first public release uses preset faces. Photo upload and custom-face generation are not part of this launch. If they are introduced later, Faces will explain the separate processing and ask for any required choice before upload.

Service providers

Information may be handled by Apple or Google for sign-in, and by account, hosting, and security providers only as needed to operate Faces. Faces does not sell personal information or share connected audio for advertising.

Data retention

Account links, face unlocks, and referral state are kept while the Faces membership is active and then handled through the deletion lifecycle. Browser sessions last up to 30 days; expired or revoked session records are removed after 24 hours. Authorization transactions expire after five minutes and consumed or expired records are removed after 24 hours. Rate events are kept for no more than 48 hours and minimized abuse-prevention keys for no more than seven days. Faces does not store the raw Turnstile token or verification response. You may request access, correction, or deletion through the published contact path. Some limited records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, or law.

Analytics

Optional Google Analytics cookies measure general Faces website use only after you allow them. Declining or closing the notice leaves analytics off. Audio, conversations, account identifiers, referral links and private face data are not sent to Google. Advertising and cross-product tracking are disabled. You can change your choice at any time.

Your choices

Audio begins only after your permission and stops when you disconnect or leave. You may use the guest experience without an account. You may log out at any time and request account access, correction, or deletion through the ryoi.ai contact page.

Who provides Faces

Faces is provided by ryoi.ai. Questions, notices, and account or privacy requests may be sent through the ryoi.ai contact page.

When these terms apply

By creating a Faces account, you agree to these Terms. Guests may try the available experience, but must still follow the safety, rights, and acceptable-use rules below.

What Faces provides

Faces provides preset animated faces for connected audio on supported devices. It does not provide the underlying AI conversation, guarantee compatibility with every audio source, or promise uninterrupted availability.

Your account

You are responsible for activity under your account and for protecting access to your Apple or Google account. Do not sell, transfer, automate, or misuse a Faces account or attempt to bypass access and unlock rules.

Face unlocks

Launch unlocks are service access, not property, currency, or a prize. A qualifying account unlocks the Dog face. Two distinct qualifying referrals unlock the Cat face for the inviter. Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, replayed events, fraud, or abuse do not qualify.

Content and rights

You keep your rights in material you lawfully connect. You are responsible for permissions, including voice, copyright, publicity, and privacy rights. Faces, its software, visual system, branding, and preset faces remain protected service assets.

Safe use

Do not use Faces for illegal activity, harassment, threats, fraud, deceptive impersonation, rights violations, evading safeguards, distributing malware, or creating content intended to exploit or harm another person.

Account restrictions

Faces may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risk, legal requirements, or material violations of these Terms. Where appropriate, notice and a way to ask for review will be provided.

Availability

Faces is a free beta. It may change, pause, or stop, and uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.

Ending access

You may stop using Faces or request account deletion through the published contact path. Faces may end or restrict access for a material breach, abuse, security risk, or legal requirement. Ending access does not transfer ownership of Faces assets or erase records that must be retained by law or for legitimate security purposes.

Changes and questions

Material changes will be dated and, when renewed agreement is required, shown before they take effect. Please contact ryoi.ai so a concern can be reviewed and, where possible, resolved.
